Welcome to the Zonta Club of Folsom-El Dorado!

Our club brings together business people and community members willing to volunteer their time to raise money, advocate and provide direct service to women in need.

Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global organization dedicated to empowering women through service and advocacy. With more than 30,000 members belonging to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 65 countries and geographic areas, Zontians all over the world volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta’s mission and objectives.

Upcoming Event:
Women’s March on Sacramento

Organized by Women’s Empowerment
Date: Saturday, January 21, 2017
Place: Southside Park, 2115 6th Street, Sacramento
Time: No later than 9:30am – Look for the Women’s Empowerment banner and purple balloons to find us. And give yourself plenty of time to park and navigate the crowds!

The staff and graduates of Women’s Empowerment will be marching together in solidarity — for homeless women and children, for women of all race and nationality, for all who are able-bodied and for all with hidden or visible disabilities, for women of all religious and spiritual beliefs, and for women of all sexual orientations and gender identities. WE will be marching for ALL women alongside 280 Sister Marches around the world.

Join us in standing up for our vibrant and powerfully diverse community — and for standing against the economic, racial and gender-based injustices that threaten the rights of our community.
